The Bouquet

Once we have welcomed everyone to the class, we'll get straight to it as you learn to create a beautiful basket holder to display your cupcakes.  With these skills, you'll be able to create wonderful displays at home with ease and use your new skills to wow friends, family and paying clients anytime.

Your first flowers

Next, it's onto the piping practice mats. These will be sent for you to print out at home or as a physical gift when buying your colours & equipment from the website.

You'll learn to master a variety of simple yet wonderfully effective drop flower designs and then it's time to pipe directly onto your cakes!

Fabulous foliage

Then we'll look at the wonderful world of leaves and simple foliage and how it can breathe life into your flowers (& hide a multitude of mishaps ;-)

Developing your skills

Next, you'll develop your skills further with some slightly more advanced piping and arrangement skills.

You'll learn how to use icing nails and flower scissors to create more professional, detailed arrangements and master the timeless English garden rose, the easy way!

The great reveal!

Finally, it's time to assemble your beautiful buttercream bouquet, show off your creations to each other and feel generally pleased with yourself and your new found buttercream brilliance!

The magic of technology

I'll be using multiple camera angles so you can see the techniques up close and in even more detail than in a physical class.

I'll also be checking in with you personally during the class to watch your technique and help you develop your skills.

Before the event, just to make sure you're all ready to go, i'll be checking in with you via email to answer any questions you have about how to connect, the class format or anything else.
