We'll begin with the skills of cake torting, stacking and filling, showing you a few little secrets that make covering your cake a breeze later on.

I'll share with you how to make my own super simple yet fabulously effective Swiss meringue style buttercream recipe that will give you fabulous results in half the time.

The art crisp edges

Ever marvelled at those razor sharp edges on professional cakes and wondered how they do that?

Next you'll learn everything you need to know to start getting beautifully smooth and crisp finishes on your buttercream cakes.

A delicious picnic style lunch

After all that 'hard work,' you'll enjoy your own picnic hamper, filled with fresh baguette, ham, cheeses and a selection of tasty treats. Plenty of tea & coffee of course and even a glass of bubbles, all included in your ticket price.

It wouldn't be a Sugarcraft Contessa party without a little something special so we'll enjoy a delicious afternoon cream tea of freshly baked scones, clotted cream and jam with plenty of tea and coffee to keep the creativity flowing.

Finally, it's time to assemble your beautiful design,  bring everything together, take lots of fabulous photos and feel generally pleased with yourself and your new found baking brilliance!

Keeping you safe & sound

To ensure you enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience, guests now enjoy their own individual table setting so social distancing guidelines can be adhered to throughout the class.

A small 'sanitising station' is set available for use throughout the day and gloves are provided.

Masks/ visors may be worn, as desired.

Finally, to be sure all guests are fit & well to attend, short questionnaires are requested prior to the event.
