Buttercream Flower Barbie Cake

The ultimate cake making class!

This exciting, full day masterclass combines buttercream flower piping with a whole host of other cake artistry skills, giving you a wonderful basis from which to develop your skills.

All you need to do is bring along your favourite Barbie-sized doll for the ultimate princess makeover!

So many skills to explore!

You'll learn how to tort, carve and crumb coat a cake, enabling you to create a whole array of different carved cakes in the future.

A delicious picnic style lunch

After all that 'hard work,' you'll enjoy your own picnic hamper, filled with fresh baguette, ham, cheeses and a selection of tasty treats. Plenty of tea & coffee of course and even a glass of bubbles, all included in your ticket price.

A wonderful range of skills

Feeling refreshed, it's time to make A LOT of beautiful buttercream flowers including roses, drop flowers and simple twist blossom and you'll be a dab hand with a whole range of techniques including how to use icing scissors and how to chill your flowers ahead of time.

We'll even be enjoying a little fondant work and adding elegant detailing with edible lace making this the ultimate combined skills workshop!  

Traditional cream tea

To make the day that little bit extra special, we'll be stopping for an afternoon cream tea of freshly baked scones, jam and clotted cream with plenty of tea and coffee, of course.

Finally, it's time to bring everything together, take lots of fabulous photos and feel generally pleased with yourself and your new found baking brilliance!

All this, set amid a quaint little craft village you can explore before or after your class making this a wonderful day out to share with someone special or to come and enjoy while making new friends.

Keeping you safe & sound

To ensure you enjoy a safe and enjoyable experience, guests now enjoy their own individual table setting so social distancing guidelines can be adhered to throughout the class.

A small 'sanitising station' is set available for use throughout the day and gloves and masks are provided.

Finally, to be sure all guests are fit & well to attend, short questionnaires are requested prior to the event.
