This skills packed 12 piece, full day class masterclass is perfect for anyone wanting to create beautiful buttercream blooms and enjoy a relaxing day away from it all.

We'll touch on the basics including essential equipment, piping and colouring techniques and then we'll elevate your skills with some really impressive designs.

You'll also be given simple, tried and tested recipes, guaranteed to ensure great results for even the newest baker.

The Bouquet

Once you've settled in, the tea is poured and the cakey conversation starts flowing, we'll get straight to it as you learn to create a beautiful basket holder to display your cupcakes.  With these skills, you'll be able to create wonderful displays at home with ease and use your new skills to wow friends and family anytime.

The Flowers

Next, it's onto the filler flowers with oh so effective alliums which look great on any design and are great fun to make.

Once we've started, there'll be no stopping you so next we'll enjoy creating beautiful peonies in different sizes, those ever popular and timeless additions to any bouquet or layer cake design.

Delicious Picnic Hamper Lunch

After all that 'hard work,' you'll enjoy your own picnic hamper, filled with fresh baguette, ham, cheeses and a selection of tasty treats.

Plenty of tea and coffee of course and even a chilled glass of bubbles, all included with our compliments, and a non-alcoholic alternative is always provided.

Developing your skills

So, feeling refreshed it's time for the second part of the class and you'll have the chance to develop your skills further with some slightly more advanced piping and arrangement skills as we enjoy creating beautiful chrysanthemums and other blooms guaranteed to impress.

You'll learn how to use icing nails and flower scissors to create more professional, detailed arrangements on both cupcakes and larger layer cakes too.

A special treat

After all that 'hard work' it must be time for tea!  So, sit back and relax as you enjoy a little something special with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam and lashings of tea and coffee too, of course, all enjoyed from vintage china.

The great reveal!

Finally, it's time to assemble your beautiful buttercream bouquet, take lots of fabulous photos and feel generally pleased with yourself and your new found baking brilliance!
