About The Event
The Perfect Introduction
This relaxed & 3.5 hr masterclass is perfect for those wishing to make their first buttercream flowers and those wanting to develop their skills to include a wider range of beautiful blooms.
You'll explore all the basics including essential equipment, piping and colouring techniques and you'll be given simple, tried and tested recipes, guaranteed to ensure great results for even the newest baker.
The Bouquet
When you arrive, you'll be greated with a warm welcome and a cup of tea or coffee to referesh you after your journey, all served in vintage china cups on your own individual table area.
Then, it's straight to it as you learn to create a beautiful basket holder to display your cupcakes. With these skills, you'll be able to create wonderful displays at home with ease and use your new skills to wow friends and family anytime.
Covering your cakes
Next, you'll learn the art of covering your cakes smoothly and quickly to ensure your they don't dry out and you have a wonderful canvas to start adding your flowers.
The perfect recipes
We'll share my tied and tested recipes to ensure you'll get the results you need everytime, quickly and easily anytime you decide to create mre designs at home for freinds and family.
Pretty Peonies, delightful dahlias and lovely lisianthus
Throughout the class you'll master the art of piping these 3 beautiful flowers and learn the professional colouring techniques which breath life into your flowers and elevate your designs.
A special treat
After all that 'hard work' it must be time for tea! So, sit back and relax as you enjoy a little something special with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam and lashings of tea and coffee too, of course, all enjoyed from vintage china.
And for those who fancy a little something extra special, enjoy a glass of chilled prosecco or 'Nosecco' for those who prefer a non-alcoholic treat.

Developing your skills
So, feeling refreshed it's time for the final part of the class and you'll have the chance to develop your skills further with some slightly more advanced piping and arrangement skills.
You'll learn how to use icing nails and flower scissors to create more professional, detailed arrangements and learn how freezing your flowers can be the key to success!
The great reveal!
Finally, it's time to assemble your beautiful buttercream bouquet, take lots of fabulous photos and feel generally pleased with yourself and your new found baking brilliance!
