A fabulously fun & creative day

This fun and creative class explores a whole range of sugarcrafting & decorating skills from board covering and cake stacking to texturing and painting sugarpaste to buttercream veggie piping and even edible soils & sand! 

 

Mastering the basics

The cake

We'll start with torting, filling and stacking your delicious chocolate cake, which will be provided freshly prepared for you and ready for a tasty coating of salted caramel & chocolate buttercream.

   

The board

Then it's time to roll our sleeves up and get a little messy as we create our edible 'soil' & 'sand;' super simple, undeniably delicious and perfect for creating a novel base on which to start building your design.

   

Fun with fondant.

We'll then enjoy creating 'wooden fence panels' to trim your garden and add a fun and effective boarder effect. 

   

To do this, you'll learn how to use setting agents such as Tylos to achieve great results in double quick time, just like the professionals do and get to grips with edible painting to create simple, tasty texture on your design.

   

Beautiful buttercream

Now, it's time to start 'planting!'

From pretty pumpkins to cute little cabbages, we'll explore a whole range of tasty little treats including wonderfully 3 dimensional runner beans winding their way up edible bean poles, grassy tussocks and maybe even a little wild flower popping up here and there. This is your chance to get as creative as you wish as you watch your garden blossom!

   

Fun & Friendly

A maximum group size of 10 people means you'll get plenty of help creating this amazing project and developing your skills in a friendly and relaxed environment.

   

All the trimmings

Lunch

With all that 'hard work' going on, we can't see you going hungry so a delicious light lunch of sandwiches and savouries will be served around 1pm

   

A little extra treat!

We also enjoy a delicious mid- afternoon cream tea of scones, clotted cream & strawberry jam (& even a cheeky glass of bubbles for those who wish) so you can sit back and relax as you enjoy a day of leisurely luxury.

   

Equipment & ingredients

Your ticket covers absolutely everything you'll need on the day including all ingredients, equipment and even the box to take your beautiful new creation home with you.

All you'll need is plenty of enthusiasm and we will provide the rest.

Every effort has been made to make this class enjoyable for all ages and skill levels making it an experience to share with family and friends.
