Mastering the basics
Covering your boards
We’ll start with different techniques for covering your cake boards and drums for that you can achieve that professional finish in less than half the time.
Preparing your layers
You’ll learn the skills of cake torting, filling & stacking and see how a few little secrets will make covering your cakes a breeze from now on.
Crumb coating your cake
You’ll learn how a good crumb coat can make all the difference to your final cake finish and we will engage in the great buttercream vs ganache debate!
Getting that professional finish
With a few simple techniques you’ll be wowing everybody with your smooth crisp finish and those elusive sharp corners in no time!
Time for lunch!
When the time is right, we’ll stop to enjoy a light lunch sandwiches and savouries (& the odd sweet treat too, of course)
