Summer Show-Stoppers Full Day Bouquet

The whole day experience with a little bit of luxury!

This all-inclusive, full day class will show you, step by step, how to create this beautiful buttercream flower bouquet, complete with stunning holder and 12 delicious cupcakes.

You’ll enjoy so much more than just a cake class with a delicious picnic hamper style lunch,  traditional cream tea, glass of bubbles and all the vintage trimmings included,  plus your own show-stopping 12-piece bouquet to take home, gift immediately or freeze perfectly to enjoy later.

 

A warm welcome.

On arrival, the kettle will be on to welcome you as we’ll begin with a relaxing introduction, getting to know a little about each other  as we settle in for the day.

The bouquets

As we chat, you’ll learn how to prepare simple, effective bouquet holders to display your cupcakes in a range of shapes, sizes and a rainbow of colours.

Buttercream basics

We’ll discuss buttercream recipes & consistency and you’ll discover just how easy it is to guarantee you’ll get perfect results every time with my super simple recipes.

You’ll also learn how to freeze your cakes so your bouquet can be made up to 1 month in advance if you would like to enjoy them at a later date.

Colouring 

Time to enjoy experimenting with colour pallets now and you’ll see how keeping things simple can give you the most effective results with just a handful of the right colourants for the job.

Equipment

Ever wondered what all those different piping tips actually do?!

Well, now’s the time to explore which flowers you can achieve from which tips along with just a handful of other equipment you’ll need to make flowers like a pro.

Your fabulous flowers.

So, now you’ll be all set, we'll get cracking on the day's flowers.

No filler flowers in this class!  It's all about the big and beautiful as you learn to make fun and fabulous gerbera daisies, pretty peonies, delightful dahlias and genuinely showstopping star gazer lilies. 

You’ll make 3 of each design so you can get in some of that all important practice to really develop those skills to take home.

Individual lunch hampers

Time now to sit back and relax as we enjoy a tasty lunch of crusty rolls, savouries, fruit and cheese, together with a sweet treat too, of course.

Special dietary requirements are happily catered for. Please just notify via email when booking.  

Your special treat

After lunch it's back to mastering those beautiful blooms but after all that 'hard work' there's alwats time for something extra special.

So, raise your glasses as we indulge in a traditional afternoon tea with scones, clotted cream and strawberry jam, lashings of tea and coffee too, of course, and even a glass of bubbles to celebrate your newly discovered talents!  

The great reveal!

Finally, it's time to assemble your beautiful buttercream bouquet, take lots of fabulous photos and feel generally pleased with yourself and your new found baking brilliance!

All this, enjoyed in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, sitting together around a vintage set table,  a little music in the back ground and set in a quaint little craft village; The perfect treat for those wishing to enjoy a day to remember with friends and family or wanting to escape for a day and learn something new.

Suitable for all

This class has been designed to be suitable for the widest range of ages and abilities.

Beginner to advanced.  However!  These aren't the easiest flowers to create so if you are new to piping, be sure to bring an extra sprinkling of patience and you'll be fine.
